46 years old and pregnant! Greetings from Scotland.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2018. We both knew that it was a problem to conceive naturally so we started to look at the local fertility clinics. We didn’t know much about in vitro at that time and had nobody to talk to about our problems. Our first IVF in Scotland ended in pregnancy but miscarriage took place very quickly. We were very upset and heartbroken. Then we found a small clinic in Poland and we were very hopeful and positive but the embryo transfer did not work. It was a very disappointing time; we felt down and beaten by the nature.
Our natural pregnancy ended very late in gestation with a catastrophic outcome. We thought this was the end of our chance of having a family.
Then finally we found the Novum clinic in Warsaw in 2021 where we received compassionate and professional care and treatments. We felt that something extra could be done for us and that it was not yet the end of our fertility journey. I had appointments with gynaecologists, an endocrinologist and a dietitian who helped me to reduce sugar level in my blood by changing my diet. I also had a diagnostic hysteroscopy in Novum clinic. After 4 cycles of IVFs we decided to go for donor eggs – It was a big decision for us.
I am 46 years old and 9 weeks pregnant after IVF with a donor egg ( it was successful after the first embryo transfer).

We found the staff at Novum to be dedicated, professional and caring. The doctors and midwives have many years of experience of managing and addressing infertility problems. No questions were left unanswered and we had regular communication with Novum workers. We felt that we were heard, taken very seriously and in good hands. There was always a welcome by the same friendly, smiley faces on our visits at Novum.
The Novum laboratory is on site and open 6 days a week so all blood tests are done smoothly. We live in Scotland and it was possible for us to commute to and from Warsaw. There is a cafe with homemade food and drinks on the property and a lovely outdoor space/ garden where patients are able to relax. The cloakroom is very handy and modern and clean toilets where lady patient can get refreshed, etc. The atmosphere is very good at Novum. It is an elegant, modern, discreet, extremely clean and peaceful place; never too crowdy.
We fully recommend the Novum clinic to people who have infertility problems. Don’t waste your time any longer and get some professional help in this place with over 30 years experience.
